As the channel bends toward the city of Oliver, Wisconsin, the Oliver Bridge crosses the St. Louis River providing both a train bridge and automobile bridge from Minnesota to Wisconsin. This deep section of the channel provides excellent midsummer walleye as well as catfish, small mouth bass and crappie opportunities.
